What inspired you to start your business?
The need to be creative. When I started in design and marketing everything was hands on. We actually drew everything by hand. Using computers to design was only in it's beginning stage (ugh, I'm dating myself!), and I really missed hand-on creativity. So when my youngest was a bit more independent I started getting up before the sun, and her, to paint every single morning…
What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?
I think I have learned that sticking with doing what you love, even when it's not very fun, it completely worth it. Sometimes the road looks long, but it all pays off. It's more than worth the effort!
What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?
I don't have lots of extra time, because I am constantly learning, but I do volunteer for activities in my town and well as the YWCA which is a cause near and dear to my heart
