What inspired you to start your business?
I grew up in a hispanic home of a struggling single mother who made every sacrifice to provide opportunity for her children. With so much financial hardship, I got my first job in the food service industry when I was 17. Making money in tips was addicting, and as a girl who never held more than $20 in her hand before, I learned everything about being the best server possible.
I worked hard, had wonderful bosses who inspired me to own my own business.
after highschool, I got heavily involved in the Startup community in Gainesville, Florida. Where the same addiction of wanting to help others, make an impact, and generate wealth creeped up again.
I fell in love with starting business, innovating them, growing them, selling them.
Now I do the same for mine.
What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?
While you may think that the "next rung on the ladder" will define your success, it won't. There is no "last rung" - be happy NOW and focus on your positive impact on the world <3
What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?
I enjoy gardening, taking long walks with my dog, trying new recipes, and while we're being honest - online shopping.
