What inspired you to start your business?
At my 9-5 before I went full time in my business, I was a marketing director and I supported women on their business journey. I developed their brand vision, collateral, and websites. After we would wrap up our project, they would still need more support and I couldn't offer that to them at my 9-5. I had women start reaching out to me to consult on their projects outside of my job and that is when I knew I was on to something. Women still needed me and I didn't want to be limited to how I could support them. I made the leap and started my creative agency to support female-owned businesses.
What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?
When I first started my business, I was completely winging it and sometimes it can still feel that way but you can't wait to have everything figured out before taking the big leap, making that investment or taking action on your BIG vision. You will never have it all figured out beforehand and there will never be a perfect time, you just have to have faith and leap before you are ready.
What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?
I love to travel, eat delicious food, and with any free time that I have, I am working on my non-profit, Mom For Profit, where we fund and support single moms that own socially conscious businesses.
