You know how service-based business owners are constantly cycling through the feast and famine cycle cause they're either marketing or delivering their service, but never both? I teach those people how to use content to sell their service and then automate parts of their lead generation and relationship building so they can do more of what they love and have a life.
What inspired you to start your business?
I wanted to be in control of my life and my future. I chose web development originally because it is location independent and I knew it was something I could do on my own.
What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?
Stop struggling on your own! Find a coach or mentor who has accomplished what you are trying to do and then earn enough money to pay them to give you the short cut and learn from their mistakes.
Begin as you mean to go on. Don't take the half-assed solution because you are new and it's 'easier.' You reap what you sew. Believe your business will succeed and make decisions that will make future you happy.
What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?
I have 5 bikes of different types and love riding in the city, doing long road rides, and mountain biking. My wife and I love getting outdoors to hike and camp. Last year, we got a Vizsla puppy named Obi and we spend most of our free time training, doing dog sports like Barnhunt and managing his Instagram. :)
