What inspired you to start your business?
My love for lettering and sharing a laugh. I grew up in a society where art is not a career. I started my life past high school trying to make other people happy. I chose engineering because my family wanted me to. I finally broke that tradition and pursued what I always wanted: to be an artist. I’m proud to say that I love what I do and wouldn’t want to be living my life any other way. Creativity is at my core.
What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?
Make connections with fellow boss babes in your community and seek their guidance. Most people are always willing to give you a tip or two. Also, don’t limit yourself to just the city you reside in.
What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?
Feminism, keeping art alive in schools, body positivity and liberalism.
