What inspired you to start your business?
Seeing the need within other creatives stirred in me the desire to help. And the dream that it was possible.
What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?
Stop doing what you think you're "suppose" to be doing. There is a lot of noise - visually and audibly - out there that will make you believe you need to do A, B & C to gain success - and whenever you start following someone else's path of success, what you do will start becoming meaningless and burn out comes so quickly afterward.
Allow yourself, your business, and craft to evolve. Give yourself grace to grow and change. Constantly give space to learn more about yourself, your dreams, and goals. And never believe you are or have to be alone in this.
What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?
A Homestead lifestyle. We recently acquired property where my brother's family, my parents, and my little family of four live. And we just got chickens! And we're learning how to work the land and all coexist together.
Also, my kiddos are my biggest "cause". I have a 10 and 8-year-old. Over the last year, I have realized I have put work before them on several occasions and I need to realign that part of me.
