Tiffany Tolliver founded The EmmaRose Agency with a promise to enhance the way we visually consume products and services. The EmmaRose Agency designs and builds iconic brands using visual balance, clean and classic designs, and breathtaking photography. With grace, grit, and God, in two years Tiffany elevated from living at home as a hair salon receptionist in Washington, D.C. to owning a thriving six-figure boutique agency in Los Angeles that develops branding for nationally-recognized businesses.
What are you best known for?
I hope that I am best known for creating lasting brands that increase my client's influence and income. I would agree that The EmmaRose Agency strives to be inclusive and to speak up for those who don't have a voice in the creative space - even when it is not of popular opinion.
What or who has influenced your design aesthetic the most?
My personal design aesthetic is highly influenced by a lifelong love for pretty things and clean lines. Things are in the works to switch it up a bit...living in sunny California has brightened my palette preferences and I am excited to start to play around with more color! There is always the signature EmmaRose touch in the brands I create (beautiful bright photography- generally captured by Ashleigh Bing Photography, amazing typography, and smart collateral designs) which allows me to focus on the individual needs of each client in unique ways.
What inspired you to become a designer?
The dead-end job that consistently overworked, underpaid and did not value my work. After putting myself in the hospital, due to stress, I decided that the life I knew I wanted did not exist under their roof. After working on marketing and communication campaigns, a mentor saw that I had a talent for creating and executing a visual strategy to hit a businesses' monetary goal. The rest is history!
