I empower aspiring event professionals by providing them resources, education, and the support they need to grow their business and live their best life.

What inspired you to start your business?

I started my business because I enjoyed creating memorable celebrations that evoked joy in both my clients and their guest. But I soon realized that some of my colleagues or aspiring planners needed help in creating a business life that they enjoyed so I decided to evoke that same spirit of joy I created in social events for wedding and events professionals on their entrepreneurial journey to success.

Entrepreneurship can get lonely and discouraging at times but with the support of like-minded people who genuinely believe in your success, the journey has been much more rewarding.

I share my successes thus far with the people that have assisted with encouragement, love, resources, education, support, mentorship, a listening ear, coaching, inspiration, collaboration and motivation so I want to pay it forward. To any female entrepreneurs that just need that business bff to listen, guide, support, mentor, educate, collaborate, share information, and empower I want to show and be present for them.

What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?

Don’t give up. Focus on you and the authenticity of your business. Don’t be afraid to do things just how you envision your business to be. It’s ok to be different that’s what set you apart from others so stay focused on minding your business and do not worry yourself so much about others.

My biggest mistake when I first started was creating a business that mimicked other businesses I admired. I completely ignored exactly why I wanted to start this business and how I wanted my clients to feel. Instead of having a clear goal of what I wanted, who I wanted to attract and how I was going to provide them with excellent service I followed others only to find out that I was creating a business that was not mine and that’s the reason for my shortcomings. I say this to encourage others to trust the process and believe that your path is created for your journey, not anyone else. Be thought leader that’s comfortable with shaking things up and being yourself.

What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?

I love to travel when time permits.  I’m a foodie, I enjoy trying different cuisines. I am a mentor for high school students and anyone that just need a supportive hand to get where they need to.
