What accomplishments would you like to share?

I was featured in a two-page spread in this year's Wedding Academy’s International Wedding Trend Report. I was also hired by WeddingWire to train their internal marketing team on LGBTQ inclusivity & language. I helped execute a wedding in Puerto Rico in January after the hurricane which felt huge to me. I've also hosted a number of workshops and events (including an RTS appreciation dinner last year for our regional chapters) that have all sold out or have been highly successful and that just feels really nice. :)

If you could tell your younger self something you’ve learned along the way, what would you say?

It's never the end. There's always an opportunity if you choose to seize it. Failure isn't the worst thing to ever happen, not learning from it is.

What inspired you to become an event professional?

I started working in hotels when I was 16. I worked my way up from the front desk to catering manager so I just kind of fell into hospitality.
