Shean Strong

A true romantic who believes in beautiful ideas, moments, + designs. I am a wedding designer + event florist based in Atlanta, Georgia.

What accomplishments would you like to share?

I've built a sustainable business from the ground up. I'm happy to say I've been doing this for over 5 years now and I'm grateful every day for it. I've been fortunate to work overseas and all across America do bring beautiful flowers for people. My biggest accomplishment is something I'm working on now; I've partnered with several local vendors to give one bride her dream wedding- all pro bono. A friend of mine from high school recently won her battle with Lymphoma and I've been able to gather some incredible people to help pull this off and give back. Medical bills pile up and can really cause havoc on your finances- if I can give back- I'm all about it. This is something I want to keep doing. It's needed.

If you could tell your younger self something you’ve learned along the way, what would you say?

Its ok if you decide not to go to medical school.

What inspired you to become an event professional?

My what is really a who... My best friend Brittany's + Johns wedding- I really enjoyed the creative process. My friend Brittany completely trusted me to whatever I wanted for her big day. I had NO IDEA what I was doing but I knew what I wanted to accomplish. It was in a beautiful pecan orchard and southern through and through. This was 5 years ago and I didn't know anything other than Hydrangea. So... I bought so many hydrangeas and stayed up ALL night with them... as of they were going to die in the night or something.

When I booked two weddings at her wedding- I still had no idea- and I gave that warning to the brides!  Something clicked for me and I was hooked. I think my adrenaline spikes from things other than jumping off a bridge or swimming with sharks- My adrenaline rises when we have to create a unique wedding, with an off the wall color palette, or I'm told "Grandma decided she DOES want a corsage" 5 mins from walking down the aisle of her granddaughters wedding. These are the things that inspire me and keep me loving what I do.
