I am a wedding planner based in Los Angeles. I plan fun casual dreamy wedding that full of personality.

What inspired you to start your business?

My background is in digital project management. After I planned my own wedding, I found myself helping friends with their wedding and really enjoyed the “controlled” chaos of planning and executing events. I decided to get my wedding specialist certificate and started In the Clouds Events.

What is something you would say to someone who is struggling in their first few years of business? Is there something you struggled with and learned from in those first few years?

Don’t be discouraged if you run into roadblocks or problems. Instead, take detailed notes on the lessons learned and make improvements to avoid similar issues from arising. Reach out to your community and ask for help when needed. You’re not in this alone.

What hobbies, causes, or activities are you passionate about aside from your work?

I’m a mom of two little girls. I love doing arts and crafts with my kids. I make play-pretend toys and props for them. Whenever possible, my husband and I take them along on our travels to see the world.

As one of the leaders of my local TuesdaysTogether Group, I really enjoy organizing our annual fundraiser and community event for “Together We Rise”, a nonprofit organization helping kids in foster care. Through philanthropy, we brought the members closer together in helping others.
